As Commissioner, I will bring a practical, common-sense approach to county decision-making. After 26 years running a small business and eight years working inside our county government, I understand that every dollar matters and every decision impacts your family and our community.
Teton County needs commissioners who come prepared, do their homework, ask tough questions, and make decisions based on facts, what's best for residents, and our long-term future.

Housing Supply and Demand
Teton County’s housing shortage is not just a real estate issue. It is a community issue.
When teachers, deputies, first responders, county employees, service workers, small business employees, and young families cannot afford to live here, the whole county feels it.
Businesses struggle to hire. Schools struggle to retain staff. Young people grow up here and then leave because they cannot find a place to live. Families who serve this community every day are forced farther away from it.
I understand what it means to fight to stay in a place you love. When I first came to this region, Jackson was already expensive. I had to decide whether I could make a life here or whether I needed to move somewhere easier. I chose to stay. I worked, built a home, and put down roots in Teton Valley
I want future generations to have that same chance.
As Commissioner, I will support practical housing solutions that increase supply while protecting the character of our communities.
I will focus on:
Cutting unnecessary red tape that prevents common-sense housing from being built.
Supporting starter homes, duplexes, accessory dwelling units, and other “missing middle” housing options.
Giving small local builders a fair chance to contribute to the housing supply.
Encouraging housing near jobs, schools, and existing infrastructure where it makes sense.
Making county processes clearer, more predictable, and more efficient.
Ensuring growth benefits the people who live and work here, not just outside investors or large developers.
Teton County does not need unchecked growth. It needs affordable homes for our local workers and families. It needs common-sense, sustainable development that benefits everyone, not just a few, so our community can thrive together, not room together.
That means increasing housing options for working people and families while protecting the rural character, open spaces, and neighborhoods that make this place special.
Protecting Our Heritage and Quality of Life
Teton County’s quality of life is rooted in the land. Our mountains, rivers, public lands, trails, wildlife, family farms, and open spaces aren't just pretty pictures. They are the bedrock of our local jobs, our shared history, and who we are as a community.
My connection to this landscape runs deep. I grew up hiking, riding horses, fishing, and hunting. I spent years guiding fly fishing trips across Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. I built my life in Teton Valley because of the land, water, and community that make this place unlike anywhere else.
As Commissioner, I will work to protect public access, our small-town character, and the outdoor way of life that belongs to every hardworking family in Teton County.
I will focus on:
Protecting access to public lands, trails, rivers, and affordable outdoor recreation for all.
Preserving the natural resources that support our local economy and our children's future.
Respecting our agricultural heritage, working lands, and quiet, family-friendly neighborhoods.
Defending clean water, wildlife, and open space from out-of-control development.
Standing up against development that exploits Teton County without paying its fair share or benefiting our residents
Protecting our heritage doesn't mean stopping progress. It means making sure growth makes Teton County better, not unrecognizable.
I believe the county must grow in a way that protects our precious surroundings, respects the people who built this community, and keeps Teton County affordable and livable for the next generation.

Teton County cannot afford to govern by crisis. Too often, our local government waits until problems explode and then become expensive, controversial, and much harder to fix. I believe we need a forward-thinking plan for our county.
Growth is coming, that’s a fact. The real question is whether Teton County will actively shape that growth to benefit us all, or simply react to it after the damage is done.
As your Commissioner, I will champion long-term planning that connects everything important to our lives: housing affordability, reliable infrastructure, fair taxes, quality public services, and our cherished way of life.
I will focus on:
Planning for future growth before problems overwhelm us.
Ensuring new development pays its fair share for the roads, schools, and services we all rely on.
Protecting homeowners and taxpayers from being stuck with the bill for poorly planned growth.
Directing development to areas where our infrastructure can actually handle it, easing traffic and protecting open spaces.
Growing our local economy responsibly, creating good jobs without losing the heart of our community.
